Chapter #6

The Welcome Wagon

by: Beatrix Amber Robinson Author IconMail Icon
"Fingers wrapped themselves around my arms and I was lifted off the ground. Fear paralyzed me; I wanted to squirm and escape the clutches of my captors but the fear of the consequences if I attempted to escape kept me from acting upon this impulse. Thus, all I could do was remain still, wonder where they were taking me and hope the destination wasn't someplace bad. They led me into a dark tent and released me from thier grasp. At first I couldn't see so I was afraid to move even though I was now free to do so; however, my eyes adjusted and I saw another person in the tent with me."
