"Also," he stopped, driving fear into each of us all, "Bring the little brother."
This infuriated Ashley, "Leave Aaron alone!" she demanded. Aaron was Ashley's little brother, about 3 or 4, she loved him and would protective him.
The mad scientist looked to her, "I'd do as I say, and be quiet if I were you," then he laughed.
The three moved on, as she was tranquilized.
