Ryan's POV
"Hmmm, very well. If the mission parameters demand it. Then I shall conform to your wishes, I will speak to the headmaster about enrolling in this school." Lunar said.
"Tell her no killing." I quickly muttered to Light's ear, just a precaution you understand.
"And there's another rule as well Lunar, you are to slay no one. Otherwise the mission is over." Light said, I always assumed Light to be well....primal. Not dumb but like animal-ish, I can't recall the last time he washed his hair. Although we told him to bathe on a regular basis at least. But it showed he could think logically here, providing an incentive to make sure Lunar obeyed him.
"Understood, however I trust I am permitted to use non-lethal force?" the pink haired girl said.
"Yeah sure, so go on and talk to the headmaster. Ryan, you might want to go back and tell the team." Light said turning to me.
I nodded and made to stand up, Lunar then spoke "Team? So this is not a mission you are handling alone then?"
I saw Light getting more annoyed, I'd have laughed if the situation weren't so important. But I kept a straight face and said "Yeah, Light lives in a dorm with me. So you could say he's part of a team, will explain to you later. I have to go tell everyone."
With that I quickly left the room, not letting the pink haired girl get even a letter edgewise. I then shut the door behind me and gave a heavy sigh, Mr Tanaka came up to me and said "How'd it go?"
"Well she's not hostile, but she plans to enrol here. In my dorm of course, at least we can keep better tabs on her. You know." I muttered, the headmaster gave a nod.
"I knew I could trust you with this, you've really got your Mother in you. I see to it she gets a uniform and timetable alongside the one you and Light have, here's hoping for the best." he said back to me. You gotta love that, a reasonable authority figure. Better for everyone that way.
So with that I trudged back to my dorm, I nodded at Chon who was sitting on the couch with the V twins.
"Everyone, I have some news to tell you all." I said as I entered and shut the door.
Chon turned the TV off with the remote in his hands, Charlie, Amy, Jenny looked at me.
"What's it this time? Underground monsters? Time portal?" Amy said, in her usual deadpan voice. She never took anything seriously, least on the surface.
"Not that I'm afraid, now you all know about where Light is from yes?"
"A secret testing facility, but we blew it up." Jenny said.
"Yeah, but something survived. And that something has made it's way to our school."
Chon stood up and said "So why haven't we fought it yet?"
I raised a hand up and said "Easy Chon, remember fighting isn't always the answer. No it seemed that a woman was created in that lab, stored underground. Her purpose was to assist Light, and she's going to be a member of our dorm now."
Instantly Chon balked "What?! Are you sure we can trust her? What if she ends up going on rampage or something?"
I kept my calm composure, I knew what Chon was thinking. "Light has explicitly ordered her not to do so, although I'm sure she would fight if he was attacked. But other than that I don't think we can expect an attack."
Chon was silent, I could tell he was thinking. I can't blame him, I'm still a bit surprised by it as well.
Just then a knock was heard at the door, I quickly moved to get it. And sure enough Lunar the pink haired girl was standing there with Light.
"Speak of the devil." I thought to myself. Motioning for the pair to come in.
"Everyone, this is Lunar Messiah. Our new dorm mate. Lunar I've explained the situation regarding you, although there might be questions that they have." I said.
She nodded and said "I shall do my best to answer any inquires you may have."
