You're head is still spinning from the news that's been announced. You now live in a cannibalistic world, where men are the bottom of the food chain. You continue to try and wrap your head around it, all this talk of "food" is making you hungry yourself, so you decide to go down and make yourself some breakfast.
Upon getting downstairs, your nose is instantly filled with the smell of freshly cooked bacon and eggs. You turn the corner to the kitchen and see your mom standing there next to a huge stack of pancakes. You look at the table and see a huge spread; cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, waffles, hashbrowns, the works. You sit down at the table and forget the news you heard for just a moment as you start piling up your plate.
"Oh John, you're up. About time sleepyhead," your mother says in her usual cheery disposition. She always has that cheery look about her. Your mom stands about the same height as you with the same light brown hair as yours, only her's goes to her shoulders. Her blue eyes also stick out, looking like two icy pools of water. She's not overweight by any means, and is actually pretty fit for her age, weighing about 190 with a bit of a pot belly. "Help yourself to breakfast, there's plenty to go around."
"Wow mom! This looks delicious! What's the special occasion?" You ask her as you syrup your pancakes and take a few bites savoring the incredible flavor.
Your mom comes over and stands behind you placing her hands gently on your shoulders. "Well oh son of mine, someone didn't watch the news this morning did they," she says as a sly smile creeps onto her face.
You instantly freeze as your mother says these words, you know exactly what she's talking about, how could you have been dumb enough to forget this life changing discovery. You gulp nervously and turn your head around, looking directly into your mother's eyes. She looks back at you and licks her lips seductively, at the same time her stomach begins to grumble.
"M-mom? You-you're kidding me right?" You say nervously as sweat starts to form on your forehead.
