"These tracks are fresh! We'll find her in no time!" Kara let her rogue friend lead the way, careful to make sure they were following the tracks and not veering off the path. As the two traveled, they found themselves soon approaching a rather steep hill, the area becoming far rockier. Kara glanced around warily, a little unsure as to where they were. "You uh...sure we're heading the right way?"
Raven took a moment to scan the area. It seemed they had reached a fork in the tracks' path. One set snaked around and continued up the hill, into the adjacent mountains. There were larger footprints alongside the goblins in this path, perhaps those of orcs. Raven shuddered at the mental image of the horrifyingly grotesque creatures, and from the sheer volume of the larger prints, concluded that this path must lead to some orc stronghold.
The second set of tracks, which veered slightly right, were less dense, and appeared more fresh. Additionally, there were dragging marks, as if the goblins may have been carrying something very large. These tracks lead to the face of a nearby cliff.
Standing up, Raven decided to follow the tracks leading...
