Lying on the sidewalk

While walking to work one day, you see a strange blue remote lying on the sidewalk in front of you. You pick it up and look around for someone who may have dropped it, but you are the only one around. So you decide to keep it because there is something about it that says not to put it back down and walk away. So you stick it in your pocket and continue on your way to work. Later, you think about the strange remote and while you are on your lunch break you decide to look at it. Sitting alone in a booth, you pull it out and set it on the table. It has three buttons on it: Reverse, Play, and Fast Forward. You decide to hit one of the buttons. Which one?

1. Reverse
