You groan as consciousness returns, and try to open your eyes and sit up. Your body decides this is a bad idea and protests with sharp aches and pain. Lying there groaning, you wait the pain out, slowly subsiding until you are ready to try again. Taking it more carefully this time, you manage to open your eyes somewhat and lift your head up. After blinking your eyes several times, you manage to see grass waving in the wind in all directions. As you continue to work your body, you eventually stand up and can start to look around better. It seems you are standing in the middle of a vast plain, hills doted around the area, all covered in swaying grasses. The sun is high in the sky, revealing woods in one direction, and mountains in another.
You try to think back on how you ended up here, but come up blank. You can't even seem to remember much about yourself at all, just random flashes of images, sensations, and feelings. You think this should cause you some concern, but it merely causes you to wonder for a bit as you look around. With a sigh, you start to brush dirt off of yourself, and take stock of your body.
