You had to know whether the person you were possessing remembered anything. Until you knew that you wouldn't feel safe doing what you wanted with your girlfriend's body. And so you decided to try and leave Aelita's body. You weren't sure exactly how to do it, you just hoped your new power would automatically kick in again as it did before.
It took a few minutes, but finally you felt a 'floating' sensation... then a whooshing feeling as you exited Aelita's body through her mouth and nose and slowly solidified into your normal form. "Woah!" you said, "What a rush!"
Aelita was now unconscious, but she soon began to stir and when she opened her eyes... she saw you standing over her.
"Are you okay, you had me worried?" you asked her, wondering what her response would be.
