"Alright, sounds good. I'll help you guys." Your response empowers your new friends smile.
"Awesome! This is gonna be great, I'm sure!" She turns towards her group "Gonna tell Justin you're joining us, so he'll have to change his calculations on everyone's reward cuts. Sure he'll be thrilled at that. Be back soon!" She dashes through the forest of people, and you lose her despite your best efforts not to.
She returns soon though, rubbing her head "Yeah, he's pretty thrilled. Bopped me good!" You thank her with a nod and a smile "Anyway, time for introductions: I'm Jeanne, and you are..?" She extends a open hand.
"Eric." You and her shake "Nice to join you Jeanne."
"Glad to have you, Eric." Releasing you hand, her smile evolves with happiness to show you her teeth "The more the merrier!" She slips a hand into her pouch and pulls forth a scroll "Anyway, we're gonna enter soon so I'd better fill you in on the plan of attack." She unrolls the paper to reveal what appears to be a map of the church. "You're a melee guy, right?"
"Yeah. Was never good with long-ranged weapons..." The bad memories of a younger you trying to use a bow come to mind.
"That's cool. So..." She points to church's front door on the map "You, me and about eight others are going in the front." she moves her finger to a side-entrance "Justin and six more are gonna go in from here and check the second floor. They're archers so elevation is good for them to get a better shoot if she's on the first floor." Finally, she points to a entrance at the back "The rest, about eight people, are gonna check the basement. If they don't find anything, they come up and join our group to check the ground floor." Jeanne wraps the paper back up and tucks it away "If nobody finds her, we all gather on the ground floor and plan again. Sound good?"
"I guess, yeah." Being given the spotlight by going in the front both scares and excites you, but you swallow down the fear.
"Great!" You thing for a second if there's anything in this world that could bring Jeanne's mood down "Let's show this monster girl who's the bosses there!"

Time to breach come so soon: everybody's in place, Jeanne flashes you a smile good luck before the front doors are slowly pried apart and you all enter...
To find the monster girl right in the centre of this grand and spacious church, just before the alter.
