You think for a moment as the spider woman is preoccupied. She's apparently assumed that you're not a threat, and with your armament it's no surprise. It's unlikely you could manage to decapitate the creature with a single swing of your wooden sword and it would be hard for you to reach it without her fending you off. You take a second to think back on your lessons about Monster Girls and remember something about Spider Girl anatomy. You recall the heart isn't located in the chest area but is actually located in the large abdomen near the top.
Armed with this knowledge, you ready your sword and focus. You were only going to get one shot at this. With a cry, you leap on top of the abdomen catching the spider woman by surprise. You manage to straddle it and find that she can't even reach you with her humanlike arms, her spider legs completely unable to turn or move to hit you. She starts bucking trying to throw you off, but before she can manage to move to much, you strike down with your sword.
"You..." She is suddenly cut off as she stops struggling, her arms fall to her side, and finally, her legs collapse under her. Cautiously you get off the spider's abdomen and move over to it's front. Her human half has collapsed over Mina, who is mostly cacooned in webbing from her head to legs. You grab the spider woman's human half and pull it off her before moving the cacooned Mina away. Mina is still struggling but she can't hope to do much wrapped up like that. "Mina! Mina stop! Hold still!" Mina stops struggling and you carefully cut her out with your sword.
GASP! "Hah... hah..." Mina looks around, clearly terrified. She sees the Spider Woman's corpse and looks up at you. "Erik?" She has this look on her face, awestruck is the only way you can think to describe it. "Yeah, it's me." You reach down a hand and she slowly takes it. Once you pull her to her feet she suddenly wraps her arms around you and pulls you close, shaking hard. "Oh Erik I was so scared!" Tears flow from her eyes wetting your armor. "Hey Hey... it's okay, you're okay." As you hold her you feel a slight twinge of something. "We're okay."
