Joy was going about her daily jobs and business at the poke' center, some trainer's had just come in to have their party healed after getting thrashed by the local gym leader, as she finished up the normal procedure for healing and wishing them a nice day and telling them she hoped to see them again soon, she was surprised to feel a tug at the back of her skirt, looking around she saw the injured munchlax from yesterday out of it's bed and trying to get her attention
"well Munchlax what's up with you then? you're certainly looking better though" Joy asked the pokemon, Munchlax didn't respond with an answer instead bounding off back to it's bed, "silly little thing" Joy thought to herself, before stubbing her toe on the strange little rock that Munchlax had left for her as a "Present" (or at least that's what she guessed it must of been)
"ouch, a nice gesture but the little guy's obviously got some shyness to him if he's not wanting to just give it to me himself" Joy thought, a few minutes later she made a point of very loudly saying "What a lovely little gift a lovely little Munchlax left for me, i hope next time he just gives it to me himself instead of leaving it lying around" as she did the rounds of the infirmary and passed the Munchlax's room, the pokemon hearing it's name and the fact Joy had liked the gift
Before long Joy was being tripped up almost constantly by these little rocks that where being left by her feet, she was beginning to get frustrated with the Munchlax not getting the picture about leaving them by her feet where she could trip over them and nearly break her neck as she fell over them time and time again.
"Now look here Munchlax, I like these little gifts your giving me, but can you please not keep putting them where i'll trip over them" Joy found herself almost yelling at the poor thing later that day after she'd recovered from almost falling, a hypodermic needle in her hand at the time almost taking her eye out if it wasn't for Chansey's timely intervention.
Munchlax got the message that time and the only time Joy saw her presents again was when she ended her shift, went up to bed and pulled back the covers to see her nice comfy bed covered in not so comfy rocks, too tired to yell she just pushed them off her bed and slept on the somewhat dirty but just as comfy mattress, as she drifted off to sleep she didn't notice the stones beginning to glow around her as the light enveloped her as she slept
