Jill and her family wer new to the area, and she was already focused on improving her social standing. Thankfully for her she discovered the Bilmaut United Ladies Club, a collection of the most powerful, well connected, cunning and beautiful women in town. There was Karen Martin(age 39), mother of five and head of the pta. Carol Royale(32), Heiress of the richest family in town the Royale family. The royal family founded and ran the highest creator of jobs, Royale diapers, infact Carol was the face of the company (the Royale diaper baby) when she was a baby. There was also Marian Locke(39), the police chiefs wife. Police chief Tim Locke was so respected (or maybe just feared) that no one in their right mind would lay a hand on his wife. In fact Marian sometimes joked that if she wanted to she could bring the entire Bilmaut county police department down on whoever she wanted with nothing but a single phone call. But she seemed too sweet and calm to ever actually do that to someone. Barbara Sinclair(35) was an author and a local celebrity. She wasn’t the first one though, apparently several other women had tried to join but had bailed out after their first meeting. And whenever Jill tries to question these women about they experienced they just shuddered and say they didn’t want to talk about it.this either meant they had either been through something truly terrible, or they were to scared of the women to tell on them. But this didn’t deter Jill one bit, so she started talking with Karen after every pta meeting every week. And every week Karen would either reject her or try to make her reconsider, but after several weeks with no sign of stopping she finally relented and gave Jill the chance she so desperately wanted.
And so the day finally came when Jill would get her shot at joining the B.U.L.C., she arrived at the house the meeting would take place. It was a fancy house in an expensive neighborhood wit neighbors spaced out a bit farther apart than usual. “They really do prefer their privacy” she thought, feeling a bit nervous. So she swallowed her pride and opened the door to reveal the five most powerful women in town...
