Lucas slumps back in his seat after putting away one more slice of pizza. "Man that was good!" he exclaims and belches loudly. "Alright, so we need to decide what we're going to do next, Henry. I guess you can just stay at my apartment tonight and we can search to see if there have been any similar cases to this on the internet."
"Okay," you say, "Nobody's going to miss me at my place." You think of your fish, bob, who is probably going to die if you don't feed him tomorrow, but decide not to bring it up.
Lucas looks at his watch, "We've got 7 minutes. Should probably head back now." You lifted off the table and once again dumped into Lucas's shirt pocket.
Walking back into the office, Mr. Hall confronts Lucas, "Have you seen Walters anywhere? I haven't seen the little punk since this morning."
"No, sorry sir. Neither have I."
"I swear when I find that little dimwit, he will regret skipping out on his work." Mr. Hall grumbles angrily and walks back to his office.
"Well I guess I can say goodbye to this job now," you say gloomily as you return to your seat on Lucas's eraser.
"What? Why is that?" Lucas asks, "He won't be angry when he finds out you've been shrunk down to two inches. He isn't that unreasonable."
Even though Mr. Hall was that unreasonable, you argue, "There's no way he would believe a crazy story like that!"
"Well then why don't we just show you to him."
"No!" you shout, "You can't let anyone else see me." You have a true fear of what Mr. Hall or Anthony and Mark would do to you if they found you in your current state.
