There exists subspecies of humanity and aliens that are spoken of in miths and legends. Beings so immense that they are considered celestial bodies unto themselves, the smallest of them rivaling the size of brown dwarfs!
Because of this, they live as entirely space dwelling lifeforms capable of traversing the stars under their own power. The "void dwellers" ,as they are called, have achieved this state of being through transcendental understanding and awareness of the fundamental mechanics and properties of the universe, giving them access to science and abilities far beyond the comprehension of world dwelling lifeforms. As a result, most of the universe regards them as fairy tales.
The void dwellers are nomadic by nature , traveling from galaxy to galaxy at their own pace and never staying in one place for very long.

Do not have societies in the traditional sense. Infact, most of them live solitary existences,only coming into contact with another of their kind for the sake of reproduction. Though this is the norm for the majority of void dwellers throughout the universe there are still cases where groups of them come together to form nomadic tribal communities.
As to the on going conflict between the genders, most are indifferent, seeing the entire debacle as a collosal waste of time.
Though most void dwellers do not concern themselves with the petty quarrels of world dwellers, some have been known to intervene, either to give their two cents, outright take sides, or to stop warring parties from destroying themselves or their surroundings. Some are speculated to even serve as living Mobile homes for smaller races to live on. Infact, there are entire civilizations that worship them as gods!
The void dwellers are a mighty people indeed and tough they are an incredibly rare sight, the mere presence of one can have far reaching consequences for entire civilizations.
