Bobby kept his head down and moved slowly as he made his way through the crowded hallways of his high school. Being short brought a bunch of problems that he would like to ignore, many of them involving his school and the people that can’t seem to leave him alone. He was a little bit of a sideshow freak in the school with his small height and childlike features, even though he tried to keep to himself and avoided conflict he still managed to find people staring at him. His desire to be left alone probably didn’t actually help him much in being left alone, being a loner only brought more attention to himself. He did have friends, but he didn’t spend too much time with them, having someone that could be mistaken for a lost child tended to cramp most teens style. Bobby didn’t mind so much, he just wished some girls would give him attention, the good kind of attention, not the bad kind.
There were two kinds of girls he tended to have the most trouble with. The first were peppy girls that wanted to be around him for reasons that Bobby didn’t want to think about, was it pity? Did they think he was some kind of mascot that they can have around? Did they actually like him? He didn’t know, but the second type of girl he had no mixed feelings about, female bullies. Not a lot of guys pick on Bobby, maybe it seems too pathetic to their masculine egos to pick on someone for looking like a kid to most boys, but girls had no problem with that. They teased and harassed him, sometimes leaving him stuffed in lockers or with a wedgy. He sometimes wished it was boys bullying him, at least he wouldn’t have to find himself getting embarrassing and unwanted erections when he was being bullied.
There were other problems at school, but right now he’d just like to avoid these two, get to his class and try to have one day where he’s not treated like a child. Fat chance of that happening.
