Jenny just nodded and decided she would go for it.
So, Jenny actually visited the tennis courts at school the following day and she signed up to join the team. In fact, there were no girls over the age of 12 on the team, so she was the oldest right from the start. She started serving and hitting against the wall, and all the boys on the team were amazed. In fact, during her first practice match, she played against a tall Indian boy named Tanmay, who was 10 years old. They rallied and rallied for over an hour and she barely won, but it was very close!
She decided to practice with the same boy again since he was very strong. She was so excited, that the Coach assigned her to play in the first tournament against girls from other schools!
