Jason arrived home at the Lopez's house. He left his abusive father and his mother left him a secret account only Jason and his mom could access. She put away a large fortune into the account as she came from a wealthy family.
As he put his school bag on the dinning room table seat. He let out a sigh. His coach told him that due to budget cuts. The school's baseball team was being cut and his couch told him that would meaning his college baseball scholarship would be forfeited. His coach did them to try out for other sport teams. His coach told him that the top three sport teams with lots of college scholarships are Football,Wrestling, Powerlifting, and Sumo Wrestling. the last one surprised Jason and when he asked other fellow jocks at the school. they all told him that with the increase of Asian students and that many colleges have Sumo teams to challenge other Sumo teams in the country and out of the country. Sumo Wrestling is becoming quite popular.
While he was thinking about this he didn't noticed Angie was in the kitchen coming back from a grocery run. Jason heard his name being called and saw it was Angie calling to him.
"Sorry Mrs Lopez. I can help you with your groceries."said Jason.
"Thanks, but I got it. Why the long face?" asked Angie.
Jason told her is problem about picking a new sport team to join and he was have to go up in weight and about his secret account that his mom gave him.
Angie listened and told him that what ever sport that he will pick. she will support him and Jason helped mellow out Carmen somewhat and did help Max with his dyslexia. Thanks to Jason Carmen is a solid B+ student and Max is a solid B- student.
