A strange energy wave coursed throughout Karakura Town as a crater was mysteriously formed in the center of town. Five minutes later, a person came upon the wreckage and, going to the center, discovered a metal sphere with two lenses attached. As soon as he/she picked up the item, knowledge flowed into him/her. The item was called the Exchanger and it allowed the user to manipulate reality by exchanging various traits between two or more people.
