Citrine does something wonderful, until somethi...

One page in an exceptionally dusty tome caught her eye, detailing the incantation to summon a creature known as the "Olfactory Whirlwind." The creature was said to be a whimsical spirit, bound by the scents of the world. Without a second thought, Citrine murmured the ancient words, her voice echoing softly in the deserted classroom. A sudden gust of wind whipped around her, sending papers and books flying. Her heart raced as she felt the power surge through her, a scent of fresh mint and lavender blooming in the air.

The next moment, a swirling mass of colors and aromas coalesced before her. The creature she had summoned looked like a miniature tornado of scents, with eyes that sparkled like polished garnets and a smile that could melt the stoniest of hearts. But it was not the friendly spirit she had hoped for. The creature's mischievous nature was evident as it grew larger, knocking over bookshelves and sending books flying. The air grew thick with the cacophony of a thousand different smells, from the sweet scent of blooming flowers to the pungent odor of rotting eggs.

Citrine's eyes widened in alarm. She hadn't anticipated such chaos from her spell. She quickly tried to remember the incantation to dismiss the creature, but her mind had gone blank with panic. The whirlwind grew more playful, sending a blast of minty freshness towards her, causing her to sneeze uncontrollably. As the sneezes subsided, she noticed that the books and scrolls it had scattered were beginning to gather themselves, as if drawn by an invisible hand. The creature was not only powerful but had a mind of its own.
