It was a quite day at the office and you nearly slept over the paperwork as there was no job coming in today. You lazily dangle your high heels under the table as you type in the forms of the latest jobs into the computer. Your name is Gwendolyn Parker but you where just called Gwen most of the times. Lame, I know but thats how it is. You yawn, stretch yourself and support your heavy head on one of your arms as you browsed through a file filled with pages of numbers searching for the one matching on the screen.
The phone rang and a little too quick you picked it up, happy that something actually happened at this day. "Gwendolyn Parker at Parkers" Please no false connection, you thought. "Marie Jeanette here, Ms Parker, please come quick... This is urgent. I think there are a lot of these pests here. Please" "Calm down Marie. have they got any powers? Have you seen them?" "Please come quick. I don't know. I just heard them and then I left the house."
The adress was about a mile away from the office and you could not get rid of the smile, happy to actually do something. As you came around the corner you saw the women standing there in front of the house. She was obviously frightened and walked towards you with a fast pace. "they are in there", she sayed throught your open window and pointed out a cute red house. "Please be careful", she called after you but you just turned around and winked. "I am the best in my job Marie. Don't worry" You patted your bag and walked into the house.
As you walked in you had to notice how tidy the whole house was. You became a bit jealous because this is something you always wanted but you where chaotic. Sayed mildly. There was no dust nowhere and even the magazines on the table where stacked in a neat pile as if someone had filled them in a form and took it away afterwards. But that was not the reason you where here.
You knew that your heels would give you away immediatly on the hard floor as you made your way too the kitchen and that was good. Either they would run or they would stay. Two options but number one would be the best for all involved. As you came around the corner you knew that they would stay. Not too easy this time. On the floor stood one single man with his arms across his chest. The fridge was open and you could see four others trying to get food out of it. They looked at you but a reassuring look to the man on the floor made them turn their backs to you again. There had to be more... One was on the counter, one in an open cupboard. Seven but surly not all of them. You avoided entering the room but stood in front of it. There where three options for you to finish this job now.
