Samus tapped the Head category, causing the two available options to be displayed on the monitor.

“Option 1: Cranium Enlargement,” the monitor said. “This option will increase the size of the user’s cranium. This will also increase the size of the user’s brain, granting increased intelligence.”

“Option 2: Second Head,” the monitor continued. “This option will give the user a second, fully functional head and neck, alongside their original head. It is currently unknown whether this second head will be under the original head’s control, or if the second head has an independent mind and personality.”

“Hmm,” said Samus, thinking to herself. The first option had potential. If she used it, she could maybe figure out how this place created the upgrades in the first place, and possibly reverse engineer it. That would possibly allow her to repair the Pear Upgrade, and possibly even reverse the changes from the biomass reshaping. The second option didn’t seem that useful in comparison, especially if the second head ended up not being under her control. Still, it could be interesting to have two heads.
