As much of a terrible plan as this seemed, Samus felt it was her only option. While the computer system in this facility still worked, she had no way of knowing it could even accept voice commands, let alone find a way to get her down. No, she'd have to handle this herself, and right now, there was only really one way for her to do so.
Setting her sights on some sort of antenna sticking out of the roof, Samus attempted to push off the ceiling with her feet. She rolled through the air, thankfully in the direction she wanted, before the gas inside her forced her back up onto the ceiling, this time landing on her stomach. After much wriggling through what little control she had left in her limbs, she finally managed to press a hand to the ceiling, and send herself rolling once more. Thankfully, her ballooned body was light enough that it didn't take too much force to get it moving. The entire process was frustrating, tiring, and disorienting, but she was making progress. Samus refused to give up, keeping her sights on her target as it drew closer and closer.
She didn't know how long she was up there on the ceiling, but eventually, Samus neared the antenna. It was but a single push away. As much as Samus had enjoyed her initial balloon form, this particular feature of the upgrade was far from desirable, and once deflated, she had a feeling she'd probably never be using it again. In future, she'd have to remember to be more careful about testing these things out, and make a note of which part of the shape on her breast activated which feature. Thankfully, she did remember which shape had made her spherical, but if that were all that was required, she would have already deflated herself by now. There would be no precise way for her to press the correct shape. She just need to slam herself into the antenna and hope for the best.
So, that's exactly what she did. With one final push, she sent her body careening into the antenna. She soon felt it digging into her breast, or at least where her breast once was. It was difficult to see with how round she'd become, but she was almost certain she landed with it right on the spot where the symbol was. Unfortunately, light as she may be, the sheer size of her body, and the force of the gas pulling upwards, was too much for the antenna to handle, and it snapped beneath her. For a second, Samus was worried she might have to make her trek across the ceiling a second time, but she soon felt something shifting inside her. She wasn't sure what was happening, but the antenna had definitely pressed hard enough to activate the symbol. Now all she could do was hope it was the right one.
