"He's not a toddler, Peggy." Amused, Deb explained. "He's a midget; a little person."

Peggy looked at you as you folded your arms, pouting. She then giggled as her face turned red with embarrassment. "Oh, I am so sorry!" Between giggles, she said. "At least you got a snack and you do look cute."

Deb giggled as well before mussing your hair with her hand. "It was an honest mistake, don't get too riled up." Bemused, she said. "We'll get you down from there and take your luggage to your room so you can change clothes."

Deb blushed deeper, her smile vanishing. "The luggage that was in the sitting room?" Gulping, she asked.

Your eyes widened in horror as you nodded as Deb sighed. "Please don't tell me you put it with the stuff to go to auction." Disappointed, she said.

Peggy slowly nodded. "It was put right next to the pile so I just thought..." She winced as you began to cry. "Now, don't panic. We'll think of something."

Deb shook her head then turned to you. "Well, it seems that Danielle's old baby clothes fit you just fine." Bemused, she said. "That will have to do for now."

You cried further and Deb released you from the changing table before holding you close to her. "Now, now, it's not so bad." Cooing you, she said. "Once the auction staff takes the pile, we can't ask for it back but we will make this up to you."

You turned to Deb, uncertain and mumbled a response as the pacifier was still tied in place and Deb had your arms pinned in her embrace. "I think he wants to know what you have in mind." Smiling, Peggy said.

Deb giggled. "Well, no one else had seen you yet so I'm thinking we pass you off as a two year old girl." Bemused, she said.

"That might work." With a giggle, Peggy said. "He's the perfect height and I kind of mistook him for a girl at first until I changed his diaper."

You were shaking your head, blushing profusely, hating the idea. only Deb ended your silent protest with a gentle smile. "Only Peggy or I will change you so your cover won't be blown." Gently, she said. "That and you won't have to lift a single finger during your stay here, we'll do all the work."

"Just expect to be treated like a two year old." Smiling, Peggy said. "Also, you'll want to act like one if you don't want to be teased endlessly."

"It's the best we can do, Cire." Calmly, Deb said. "It's that or tell Danielle that you lost your luggage and this is all you have to wear."

You gulped at that, imagining the embarrassing horrors an eight year old could cause someone of only three feet tall. Reluctantly, you nodded your head in approval, though you were crying.

"It's settled then." Smiling, Deb said. "We will bunk you with Jessica in a separate crib I use for baby sitting on occasion."

She then took you to the other side of the nursery and placed you...
