What did Deb mean "If you insist" you ponder. I didn't insist anything.
Hehe you chuckle a little and think Like she could change your mind or force you to stay here.
She might be a little taller than you but you're a big boy now. Although just 16 year old and a little small for your age but you need to become independent better sooner than later.

You are almost at a door and rise your hand closer to a door knob and plan to open door and walk outside.
Then you felt for a few seconds a small vibrating. What is that or did you just imagine things? You're not sure.

Then you hear Deb sweet voice again "Little honey leaving soon? You might be old enough to be off on your own but looking after some isn't about age rather it is about size. Small boy" Deb grins and puts her hands on her wide hips while she said that. Of course you don't see it but you hear Deb's voice is cocky.

You cannot believe it. Someones still tease or bully you a bit at high school. But this older woman thinks she have some power over you. She dare to make her voice sound more stronger, louder and determined and she still says you aren't a big enough.

"I have been nice to you because you're my mom's friend but I am. A. Big. Boy!" You shout without looking back or at Deb. "Hon. You are not big or tall. I would say you are small boy" Deb says calmly and like she was talking a small child.

That's it! No more mister nice guy acting you think.
