You think you'll probably have the most luck with the game store in the mall. They usually have long lines, but they go quickly. You grab your wallet and your keys and head down to the bus station down the block. It seemed eerily deserted. Normally most of your neighbors would be home on their lunch breaks from work or heading back. But there wasn't anyone in sight. You figure there's probably a lot of traffic the commuters got stuck in on their way.
You arrive at the bus station and wait for a few minutes. Suddenly, the bus you were waiting for speeds up to the station and stops short, causing the tires to squeal a bit. You knew the bus drivers around here were crazy, but that was just dangerous. You stand up from the bench and step onto the bus. You notice everyone in the bus has their eyes fixated on you in creepy silence. You almost forgot to pay the fare. You shake it off, place the coins in the machine, and step behind the yellow line.
