injury (no activity for a while)

It was like any other football game for Alex until he tried to kick the ball. He completely missed the ball and severely twisted his ankle.
He was rushed to the hospital and the Doctor came in with a grim face.
"you will need a cast and need to stay off your feet if it is to heal. You fractured several bones in your ankle"

Alex was heart broken. He lay on the couch sullenly for the first week.

As the second week rolled around, boredom hit like a tonne of bricks. He decided to watch movies, tv, play video games, read books. Just anything to pass the time. He also began to snack more mainly absent minded.

With the lack of physical activity and increase in calories Alex's physique will take a hit.
