Good Dog

"Well, did you know I used to have a dog?" you asked

"No, I didn't know that." replied Ashley

"Well, her name was Ashley too." you said

"Th- that's a strange coincidence." said Ashley

"I don't believe in coincidences. I have something for you." you said, and went over to a nearby drawer

You fished an object out of the drawer, closed it, and walked back over to her. You handed it to her, and she held it up to look at it.

"It's... a dog collar." said Ashley

"It suits you. You should put it on." you said

Ashley noticed the tag that read 'Ashley' in neat script.

"Umm, I don't think so." said Ashley

You frowned.

"Put it on, please." you said

Without blinking, Ashley raised the collar and closed it snugly around her neck.
