"Duh!" you say aloud. You need to get some clothes on, of course. Once you feel more decent and protected from the eyes of the world, you can start figuring out how to fix this.
You check the shirts on the ground but they're all sopping wet and stained. It dawns on you what Jenny meant when she barged into your room. You had put your dirty gym clothes to wash without taking Jenny's shirts out of the washer, like she told you, and they stayed in there for an extra cycle, where you must have left them. You sigh. You'd be angry too if Jenny had done the same to you.
A quick foray into Jenny's closet shows that, unfortunately, all her shirts were in the washer - her t-shirts, tank-tops, and long sleeves - leaving you with no tops to pick from.
You grit your teeth. "Good job, Jake. Real good job," you think as you scan the room and dig deeper in the closet, only find dresses and out-of-season summer wear like tankini tops. "This is what you get for not keeping your shit together."
