The sun beamed brightly down on the town, the hot summer day getting the better of a lot of people. Ryan was prepared though, clad in simple cream shorts and white t-shirt, wandering half-aimlessly through the town. White trainer-clad feet stepped across the pavement, his 6'2" body fairly capable of long strides, rapidly taking him down through the main high street, two rows of shops stretching far with various roads coming off it, more shops and buildings hidden away in these more distant corners.
He eventually found himself in the town park, a small grassy area with a few flower beds and benches littered all around, with a small river going down the centre. He found himself an empty seat and leant against the left arm rest, stretching his legs across the remainder of the bench. With a loud paper rustle, he pulled out a hamburger bought from a fast food resturant, casually taking a bite and glancing around at the pleasant sights.
Lots of people were around, happily picnicing and sunbathing, a few splashing about in the river, making the most of such a good day. British weather didn't normally allow for such activities, so everyone was taking advantage. As Ryan glanced around, he had failed to notice a strangely glowing fly, the bright green bug making its way into his hamburger. He idly took another bite, massive teeth chewing up the fly along with a bunch of the burger, the greasy patty disguising the odd taste of the fly. He continued to eat his snack, at first not noticing anything, though the creases of his clothing were a little flatter than they had been a moment ago.
Once his burger was devoured, he licked his fingers clean, wiping any remains into the paper bag it came in. He was about to head to a bin to throw that away, but stopped, going wide eyed. His legs had been fully stretched across the bench before, but now his knees were a little bent up, his feet feeling a little constrained. He noticed a strange tingly sensation spreading through his body, slowly intensifying as the rest of his clothing starts to get tighter around him. His clothes were shrinking, how was this possible? Unless...
A slight smile spread over his face. He's fantasised over this for as long as he could remember, as young as a toddler having fun pretending to be godzilla, rampaging through lego buildings. He closed his eyes and bit his lip, letting the sensation overcome him, leaning his head back and letting out a soft moan as he stretched taller across the bench. But just how big was he going to grow? In his head he imagined the surface of the planet stretching out either side of him, a particularly favoured image of his, snuffing out entire countries with his footsteps, the ground shattering and warping under his footsteps. He could only hope...
