William found Matthew after the competition surrounded by fans giving him congratulations and celebratory belly rubs. He stood at the outside of the ring of supporters that flocked around Matthew. The obese fox saw William and made eye contact with him. He waved a pudgy hand in the air to beckon William towards him.
"I don't think I've seen you around this parts." said Matthew to William. "I would have known. We don't get many foxes around here."
"And where I'm from, we don't get many half-ton foxes." William replied jokingly.
"Maybe that should change." replied Matthew, scoping William's body. He noticed the larger foxes glances and blushed a deep red. "Are you new in town? I've got plenty of space in my mansion and wouldn't mind having company for the night. Would you like to join me? Most of the inns in this town are full this time of the year, and I've got to help a fellow fox out!"
