As Brian loads up at the buffet, you pop a piece of clay in your mouth, chew it, and wish to be as big as he is - he looks good at his current size, huge but handsome and capable. As you sit there, eating a little, you feels strange sensations across your body. Looking down you see your belly beginning to swell seriously forward, and you’re suddenly acutely aware that your clothes are too small. The feeling of tightness spreads from your beltline to your thighs, your shoulders - all over your body. Brian comes back with two loaded plates loaded with pizza, and the smell makes your mouth water. You resume noshing with intent, hardly noticing that after a minute or so your body had stopped growing. Your clothes, though, tell you you’re bigger - they are impossibly tight, and you can see the buttons and seams straining when you look down. Brian says, “Want more?” and you nod and the two of you push back your chairs and get up. You both waddle over to the buffet tables - your vastly constricting pants make anything but a waddle impossible - and you start to load up your plates with more pizza.
As you return to your table, you hear a garrulous older woman over in the corner say (more loudly than she intends to), “Look at those two! Do you suppose they’re twins? Don’t usually see fat twins!” You and Brian look at each other, and smile - you have similar hair colours, and you’re both equally packed into your too-tight clothing.
“Gotta do something about these pants!” says Brian as he sits down. They don’t rip, but you can hear the seams of his jeans creaking in protest as he moves. Your own are equally tight, but you can’t exactly take them off in the middle of the restaurant. “Got any ideas? New jeans are expensive, and I’ve already outgrown a couple of pairs this year.”
