She's nowhere in sight and the lock on fron...

As you open your front door you find that the lights are off and the curtains are closed dimming the sunlight coming in through the windows."Why do I get the feeling that I just walked into a horror movie?" You asked. A moment later your front door slammed shut behind you.

"Because you just did" a feminine voice chuckled behind you.

You felt something brush behind you and you spun around finding nothing, but then again Mira was a tiger and being stealthy is kind of what she specializes in. "You know a simple 'hi how was your day?' would suffice. You said in the direction you thought she might be in.

"But if I did that then I wouldn't get to play my games" She countered.

"Sure you could, they'd just be normal games like chess and go fish" you replied as you heard movement to your left.

"Mmmm.... tempting but I like this better, and besides.... if I didn't play my game then I wouldn't get to see the nervous look on your face." Mira decides she's said enough and suddenly stops talking. You knew that this meant she would be pouncing very soon and you wouldn't be able to see it coming even if you were looking right at her you wouldn't be able to see her. However, trial and error does yield benefits and in this case the benefits were experience. You learned that while you couldn't hear or see Mira, you could still feel her. She may be a tiger but she's your not in the jungle. That being said, the fact that she weighs much more than you means that you can feel her footsteps. The only flaw with that is she has to be right on top of you to feel her footsteps. You hear purring coming from behind you and you feel vibrations on the floor. You quickly dive forward and hear Mira land behind you where you where standing moments ago. "Oh you've gotten better since the last time we played."

"That was last week! How can you possibly tell that I've gotten better?!"

"I can't, I was just fooling you into giving away your position. Couldn't see or hear you from behind the couch."

You yelp as you roll from your current position to the side and Mira silently descends upon where you were. You can see the out line of her body as she turns her head towards you and her green eyes gleam at you. She jumps at you and you dive under her narrowly avoiding her grasp. This continues for a while and it progressivly escalates. Even your neighbors have taken notice.

Outside of your house your neighbor and his wife are walking by when they hear the noise generated by your game. "Wow... I know that (your name) was talking about dating but that doesn't sound like a date, it sounds like Mr. and Mrs. Smith with all of the action and none of the comedy." He and his wife then decided to knock on your door to see if you were 'okay'. "Hey there neighbor, everything alright?"

"Yep just dandy!" You call out quickly.

"Just trying to make sure your date isn't trying to 'kill' ya or anything." He says with a chuckle.

"Actually I'm not dating I just adopted a pet and we're still laying down the ground rules... whoa jeez! *glass shatters* "Aww, I really liked that mirror!"

"What did you adopt anyway? A tasmanian tiger?" His wife asked.

"Close, but wrong continent" you mumble.

         "I'm sorry? I couldn't hear you."

"Nothing, I've got to go talk to you guys later" you reply through the chaos as you dodge another pounce. "Hey, I'm actually doing pretty good I may actually out last her this time"

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Wow! first time for everything!

2. HA! right, and tigers don't have stripes
