Stepping over the fields of the rock, Gardenia felt the nature around her becoming more alive. The place seemed louder with every progressing step, from songs passed down from the grass towards the birds above.
Like the grass called to the birds to yank off its bugs, the ground beneath Garnedia’s feet called out the Pokémon to ward her off. At least, she assumed so.
Nearby, Pokémon of various sizes joined together, despite their differences, surrounded a group of unfortunate trainers who foolishly gained up on a family of evolving Eevees. Once the trainers knew their situation, they quickly given up on their potential catch and attempted to scram away from the grass creatures.
From the crowd of grass Pokémon, a Scyther jump out to claw on the tank top of the girl trainer. It made heinous hissing sounds from it’s mouth when it hastily pulled back its arm from the struck trainer, ripping off her top portion of her body. The girl screamed quite a bit of terror out of her system, quite a bit of embarrassment came from the mouth as well.
The Scyther wasn’t quite done with her, it wanted to make her hurt very very badly. It once again positioned its claw at the girl, aiming it from the same area as before.
Before it could do what it wanted, Gardenia’s Cherrim landed a solar beam on the back of its head, knocking off its conscious. Quickly, two more Pokémon come forward to hold their grips on the half-naked girl.
Looking the gap the two Pokémon left in the predatory circle, Gardenia realized her options. Her and the other trainers could runaway from the horde, leaving the girl behind with the distracted Pokémon. Or, Gardenia would rescue the girl and stay behind to allow all of the trainers to leave from the area, which would eventually worn out the gym leader herself.
