Silver raises one of his massive eyebrows and tilts his giant head to one side. He didn’t look all that hostile towards you, but you stayed on your guard just in case. You weren’t sure what you would do if he did turn on you; in fact, as you looked at his titanic body, you were positive there would be nothing you could do. But in spite of that, every muscle in your body tensed as he gazed at you with those intense golden eyes, made even more intimidating by their size compared to you.
He stared at you with that puzzled look for a minute, and then he cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted “I’M GLAD TO SEE THAT YOU’RE AWAKE. HOW ARE YOU FEELING?”
His voice was louder than a jet engine taking off in close proximity. Though you scrunch your eyes and shoot your hands over your ears to protect them, it didn’t help much at all. You kept them there as you try to stop the room from spinning, afraid that you’ll feel the warmness of blood dripping through your fingers from your eardrums bursting. Thankfully, you don’t feel any liquids dripping from your ear canals, and as you put your hands down you hear Silver’s voice again. He must have realized that he was causing you some tremendous pain, because his voice became softer, like a whisper transmitted over a loudspeaker.
“Oh jeez, sorry about that little guy. You’re so small, I was afraid you couldn’t hear me. Guess I didn’t have to yell though, huh?” He gave a short, nervous laugh that you couldn’t deny was simply adorable.
You felt noticeably more relaxed as you could sense that he wasn’t going to hurt you after all. But try as you might, you couldn’t bring yourself to be totally back to normal. Just like staring up at a huge skyscraper, there was an inherent intimidation you felt at the sight of Silver that wouldn’t go away. You suppose that the possibility of him stomping or otherwise crushing you, even accidentally, was still a real possibility. And he was just so damn big.
He continued speaking in a slightly louder tone. This was probably his normal speaking voice, which was certainly loud at this distance from his mouth, but at least it was tolerable.
“Just who are you anyway? I’ve never seen anything like you around Mobius before.”
He thought for a moment, then a big smile crossed his face and his eyes lit up. He looked just like a little kid when he asked “Are you from the future?”
You try to shout to him that you are in fact not from the future, but its no use. He definitely sees you trying to say something, but he just looks puzzled again, and perhaps even a little flustered. He definitely can’t hear you, and you realize that unless you’re shouting directly into the gigantic triangular cavern that was his ear, he’ll never be able to hear what your saying.
Thinking fast, you shake your entire upper torso left and right, making an exaggerated symbol for “No” that you hope he recognizes. He looks like he does, because the distressed look on his face is momentarily replaced with one of satisfaction before it again changes again to disappointment.
“Aw, really? I was hoping to hear from someone about what the future was like now that the Iblis problem has been taken care of.” He closes his eyes and shrugs his massive shoulders before saying, “Oh well, I guess that can wait. So then where are you from?”
There would be immense difficulty in explaining your situation to him without being able to talk. You think for a moment and then get an idea. You hold out your hand, palm upwards and make a scribbling motion with your other hand. You hope he understands what you mean by it. He squints down at you; probably trying to figure out what it is your doing. Then, his face lights up in the cutest way possible. Deep down you kind of wanted to snuggle him for being so charming.
“Oh,” he says. “you want to write me a note?”
You shake your head emphatically and you watch as Silver’s body glows that same bluish-green hue. He raises his hand in the direction of the couch and from behind it floats in a notepad and pencil, covered in an aura that was the same color as the one you were trapped in. He gently places the stationary in front of you. The table didn’t shake or vibrate like you were expecting; apparently Silver was being very careful as he hands you what you need.
The pencil is far too long to wield effectively, so you walk over to the graphite point and snap it off with a forceful heel drop. The broken shard of black is the perfect size for your tiny hand, so you take it with you over to the paper. You begin writing down what had happened to you, running back and forth along the page as you wrote in letters that were bigger than you were.
The going was slow, but you were intensely focused on giving as accurate a description as you could. While you were focused on writing, you noticed out of the corner of your eye Silver raise himself to his full height. A moment later, you feel the ground shake as he walks over towards the couch. Then you hear a loud crumple-crunch sound as he sat down across from you.
You glance up briefly, and you catch a glimpse at most of his body. His thin, taut legs stretch out towards you, spanning the gap between the table and couch and connecting to his crotch and firm, young butt that you could just barely see. You couldn’t see anything between his legs, but you figured whatever he was packing was either hidden behind all that fur, or that you just didn’t have enough time to find it. His tummy was tight and flat, covered in those silvery gray locks of hair up until his chest. You always thought that the V-shaped tuft of fur made him look even more physically fit, as it gave him the appearance of a barreled-out chest. His arms looked just as firm as his legs, and they seemed just as powerful. He rested his hands on his knees as you worked, sitting on the edge of the couch and hunched over you. His young face was transfixed on you, eyes glowing with fascination as you scribbled on your pad. If you were your normal size, you would have wrapped him up in your arms right there and…well, the thought of it stimulated you and you felt your lower tummy buzz with delight.
But you had to focus. This was no time to fantasize; you had to tell him what was going on. After a few more minutes of exhausting writing, you put your little piece of graphite down and fall over in a heap. This should be some kind of exercise regiment, you think to yourself. Maybe when you get home, you’ll patent the idea; you’ll probably call it something like “the Writing for Giants method of weight loss”.
Silver replies quickly, as he had been reading what you’ve wrote as you were going along. “Okay, I think I get it. You were transported here from this planet…Earth, right? And other than that you don’t know anything else about how you got here or why you’re so small?”
You shake your head yes, somewhat upset that you can’t give him any more information. He must have noticed this, because he looked upset too for a moment. But then he lit up again, and not in that blue-green way.
“I know,” he said. “Shadow and I used Chaos Control to travel into the past. I’m sure that if we get all the Chaos Emeralds, I can use Chaos Control to send you back home!” He jumps out of his seat, and in his excitement he bumps the table with his knees. The shockwave is enough to make you lose your balance and fall flat on your face.
“Whoops, sorry little guy” Silver says. He activates his Psychokinesis and helps you up. In spite of his size, he really is exactly how you thought he would be. He’s kind, gentle and willing to help out someone in need without even a moment’s hesitation. Even though you just met him, you feel like you’ve known him for a long time. You swell with love for him until you felt like doing backflips.
But then another thought crosses your mind. If he’s just like his in-game persona, than maybe he’s just as gullible too. His gargantuan body was simply god-like, and it wasn’t every day that you got to hang out with your anthropomorphic crush. You didn’t have much to go back to in your world anyway, so why rush to get back there? Maybe you could stay, and “convince” him to do stuff that you had only ever dreamed of before now. Just thinking about it was making you excited.
On the other hand, you really should try and get back. You’d still get plenty of time with him as you both hunted for the Chaos Emeralds, and that would probably take a really long time as it was. Perhaps it was better to get started as soon as possible. Still, even if you did stuff now, you’d still have all that adventuring time with him anyway. The Emeralds won’t hunt themselves, after all.
You were conflicted. You could go the logical route or hold off and have some fun first.
