The first indication that something about the cave was odd was when you began smelling the color purple. Not long after that, you began hearing the taste of tree bark and tasting the touch of the grass beneath your feet. Such sensations usually disoriented people, considering that they were impossible. Of course, since magic makes the impossible possible, these were tell-tale signs that an ambient magic aura was suffusing this place.
