"Okay," he shouts back. He pushes himself up, ignoring the squish he felt as he sat up. Turns out he pooped his diaper too. He ignored the smell as he stood up in his socks on the carpet. The smell never bothered him, having lived with it long enough to tune it out of his sense. He ran down the stairs, lightly peeing into his soiled diaper as he did.
He found his mother on the carpet, changing his little sister's diaper. The two-year-old was on her back, sucking on a tall bottle of apple juice, her mess of blonde hair spilling on the floor as her mother wiped her and replace her diaper.
Without even looking, his mom asked "you need a diaper too?"
"Yeah."
"Alright," taping the two-year-old girl's diaper up. "Get up Soph, go play. It's your brother's turn."
"Play, play, play," the girl uttered. She ran off in her pastel-colored short and diaper, running off to whatever fairy realm she thinks up next. Jamie laid back on the carpet, staring at the ceiling. He felt his mother untape his diaper, opening the mess for all to see. She lifted his legs, bawling up his messy diaper and throwing it away in a nearby trash can as she wiped him. She placed him on a fresh new diaper his size and applied the right amount of lotion and powder for comfort. She taped his diaper back up and got up and left to her own devices.
