Moxie obviously didn't have time for these low level jobbers. She'd get plenty more experience by clearing the level as quickly as she could than wasting time fighting a bunch of losers. To escape, she used her favorite special move: She lifted up her armpits and let the cheesy, oniony stink waft out of her armpits. It quickly created a stinking, sour fog that blinded her enemies and left them choking and wishing they were back at base, smelling Braun's armpits instead.
When the cloud of odor cleared, Moxie was gone. The two dogs gulped, knowing that they'd have to come back to base and probably be made into toilets for the rest of the gang for letting Moxie get away.
The rat made sure to flip the two off while she was escaping, and managed to speed through the streets to catch up with Braun just as she was getting into her van. The fat dragon steamed with rage and yelled at her subordinates to get the thing moving. Moxie managed to leap at the very last second and cling on to the side as it took off.
Braun didn't miss that though, and she leaned her head out the window to start breathing her foul, alcohol-laden breath out to try and knock Moxie out. Moxie held on valiantly, but eventually Braun got fed up and hocked a huge loogie that hit Moxie clean in the face and sent her tumbling into the streets
When Moxie finally came to, she was right in front of the ramp to the highway. Braun must've taken the bridge across to her hide-out on the other side of the river.
She had two choices, hijack a car and head across the bridge (which is no doubt booby trapped after she got that close to braun) or go to the docks, which would be slower but safer. Notice the wording "Safer". The docks were home to some wily cat fishers who had some seriously stanky breath, but they're nowhere near as bad as Braun's troops.
