Chapter #4

The Kelpie (Crossover Alert)

    by: Unknown
As you swim closer, you feel waves whipping at you. You try to swim closer to shore because there was a monster in the water and it was close. From the looks of it it had to be five hundred feet tall at least. Just when you swim close to the sands of Horrorville, the monster surfaces. It is a girl monster, apple figured in shape and with bright blue skin and long blonde hair. She had scales on her belly and a fish's tail, but she had hooves for feet and the face of a horse. You've heard of this time of monster. It was a kelpie.

The kelpie flips her hair and takes a deep breath as she switches from gills to lungs and walks forward. Then you realize something. This kelpie, you never met her, but you've heard of her from Roxy. Roxy told you that her name was Aqua and she lived in the same apartment complex as her little sister Petra. You had never met Petra either, but Roxy told you if you got into trouble in Horrorville, it would be the best idea to find her. Fortunately Aqua lived on the same floor as Petra. This was some good luck.

But then you remember Roxy also telling you that Petra's apartment was extremely dangerous to humans for two reasons. Petra's landlady was a mummy by the name of Nefernina and from what Roxy said she was the worst person she'd ever met. The woman was a total control freak and hated humans with a passion. Almost every one of the tenants hate her guts (or would if they hadn't been cut out and placed in jars). Roxy even told you that they should've nailed that bitch's sarcophagus shut.

But that wasn't the only danger. There was a werewolf named Lupa that patrolled the halls. Lupa was nothing like April, the one werewolf you knew, the only werewolf you knew was friendly towards humans. Lupa loved humans, but unlike April, she loves them as food. Roxy told you that Lupa was so gluttonous she'd make it a priority to devour every human she sees. And since she could get you on land too, that made her worse than Paisley.

Then you remember that that apartment is filled with monsters from Horrorville. You had just washed up from Terrordale. You don't know why, but Terrordale and Horrorville have had a vicious rivalry since the twin cities were first formed and monsters from either side hated each other with a passion. If the monsters in that apartment found out you were from Terrordale, they might tear you apart. And from the sound of it, the monsters in that apartment included a gorgon, a manticore, a yeti, a thunderbird, a banshee and a fire genie among others. None of those sounded like the kind of monster you'd want pissed off at you.

Even Aqua was a possible hazard. You heard kelpies were predators to humans and Roxy said she didn't know whether or not Aqua was a maneater. What do you do now?

(Note: This time use the monsters that aren't part machine)

You have the following choices:

*Pen*
1. Get Aqua's Attention.

2. Stow Away in her Pocket

*Pen*
3. Try to find another monster

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
