Now, catching a ride would be the best idea, but that jagged wall is a bit of a risk to take when you have a clear option to your right.
You sway right, hair whipping around behind you. You're in a full-blown sprint now. Looking at these anthro-fied cars makes you want to do the cinematic thing where you run along on top of the cars, jumping onto each one as it's near. You scrap that idea as the cars are too big to jump onto. You run onto the sidewalk, bumping some anthros while running. About four seconds behind you are some cops. It seems that wolves are not as fast as you think. Pedestrians look at you then to the cops. There is a good gap between you and the officers in chase. You can hear their thunderous footsteps against the cement, but you can't look back to see them.
You're at another difficult choice-- left or forward. If you went right, you'd end up a street away from the riot; that'd probably get you caught. Forward of you is a rough-looking building. It looks broken down and abandoned, a perfect place to hide. You doubt the structural integrity of the building. You'd for sure find a place to hide, but it's two stories. The floor may be somewhat unstable. To your left-- a subway entrance. (NO not Subway™, I mean an actual subway TRAIN entrance. Man! Get yo thinkin' straight!) You could run down there... but what then? Wanna take your chances?
Run down into the subway! (*Sigh, continue the chase!) *Left
OR
Hide in the house! (You'll get away for sure... but can you trust that old house?) *Forward
