As much as Mackenzie was loathe to admit it, Diane's back yard was her best option. She wouldn't have to risk stepping out into the alley, or risk being seen by two people as she would with the Henderson's yard. The plan was simple: hop the fence, swipe some clothes off the clothesline, and get the hell out. If Diane was in the yard? Well, Mackenzie would deal with that issue if and when it came up.
Standing on the small chair, her hands at the top of the fence separating her yard from Diane's, Mackenzie took a deep breath and hauled herself over. As her eyes passed over the fence, she immediately began scanning the yard in front of her, taking stock of her surroundings and options. Diane's yard was rather barren, with the only notable feature being the clothesline posts. If that line was bare, Mackenzie wouldn't have much luck finding anything else in this yard.
