Mackenzie hadn't been to the campus since she was a student, and while that wasn't terribly long ago, it was still enough time for things to change. Still, the campus couldn't be too different from how she remembered it, right? Just a few buildings for classes, the theater hall, dorm buildings, the wide open space of the quad, and Greek Row. Greek Row was off to the side in comparison to where Mackenzie needed to go, the class buildings should be empty on a weekend, and the only real question was how populated the quad was.
At least, that was what Mackenzie had reasoned when she set out on her journey. Sprinting across the streets, staying low to the ground as she crept through lawns and backyards, the freshly cut grass and soft flower petals of people's gardens lightly tickling at her flawless skin. If there was one thing Mackenzie could be grateful for, it was that her neighborhood wasn't terribly active in the mornings. At last, Mackenzie was at the last block before she reached the campus. Carefully stepping into the alleyway to cut through the block, Mackenzie saw something that made her blood run cold: the Greek alphabet.
More specifically, Mackenzie saw Greek lettering on every house on this last street. She was on Greek Row! How did she get here?! Greek Row was supposed to be on another end of the campus entirely! At least, it had been when she was a student... Apparently things had changed. What Mackenzie didn't know was that the old Greek Row had been torn down to expand the campus, adding several new administrative buildings. The houses along the street she was currently on were bought up by the college and re-purposed as the new Greek Row.
Suddenly, Mackenzie found herself in a much more intense situation. Frats and Sororities weren't exactly the most kind and understanding groups, especially some of the ones at Mackenzie's old college. A few were notorious as "Party Houses", their members more preoccupied with having a good time than earning a good education. Mackenzie had never joined a sorority, though a few had tried to recruit her. Right now, the naked redhead wished she had joined up with one, if only so she could try asking for help. As it was, she just needed to make sure none of the sororities spotted her, or even worse, one of the frats...
Her heartbeat could be confused for a fully automatic machine gun at this point, but Mackenzie had to press onward. She'd already committed to her path, and turning around to try a new route would only waste time at this point. Taking a deep breath, Mackenzie did her best to cover her privates with her hands and arms, and ran for her life (as best as she could with one arm across her chest and a hand between her legs, at least)...
With her feet slapping on the pavement of the sidewalk, Mackenzie could see the edge of the main campus at the end of the street. Just a little further and she'd be on to the next leg of her arduous journey...
