Alyssa answered to door to her cousin happy to see him as always "Well if it isn't my favorite cousin, did my mom send you to check up in me?" she said giving Ken the idea the her mother wasn't home at the time.
"No I didn't even know that she was out today. Where did she go?" Ken asked knowing now that he would have to ask Alyssa if anyone to shrink him for his project if anyone, before he lost the confidence it would take to let someone else shrink him.
"Why don't you take a seat inside, Mom brought Kat and Stephanie to the water park earlier but I didn't feel like going." Alyssa said to no surprise as she lead Ken into the living room, she had always liked being home alone since it gave her time to think.
"Oh, so when will they be back?" Ken asked hoping that her answer would be sometime so but Alyssa told him that "It could be a few more hours." sensing that something was up and wanting to get a straight answer from Ken.
Deciding to put his faith in Alyssa Ken opened up to his younger cousin about the shrink ray and his scholarship, needless to say she was speechless at first never before thinking that shrinking was possible.
Yet now her cousin had come to her in the hopes that she would shrink him. How could she turn turn down such an amazing opportunity to take place in shrinking someone down to the size of a bug?
"Of course I'll do it, anything I can do to help." She smiled as Ken handed her the box with the shrink ray inside quickly ripping off the tape and pulling the device out from it's cardboard container.
Alyssa looked at the strange device unaware of how if functioned as she randomly adjusted the controls from left to right before a strange green beam exploded from the device hitting Ken square in the chest.
One the beam had stopped Alyssa put it back in its box and slid it underneath the couch where she kept her shoe boxes, knowing nobody would look for anything under there.
Ken felt strange after being shot by the device as the room began to grow inches at a time, at the same time his 10 year old cousin who already seemed to be growing at a rapid pace walked towards the shrinking boy as with each step she took he seemed to shrink a full foot in size.
After only three steps Alyssa had nearly quadrupled in size as Ken down on the floor stood no taller than her knees and still getting smaller. In only two more steps Ken must have been no bigger than his preteen cousin's foot as her simply steps seemed to have become long strides in clearing the distance between them.
With one final step Alyssa's foot crashed into the ground in front of Ken signifying that Ken must have stood no taller than an inch in height, no bigger than Alyssa's big toe.
"Alyssa, couldn't you have made me any bigger?" Ken asked not liking the way it felt to be a fraction of the ten years old height, knowing that if she wasn't careful she could have crushed him under her barefoot.
"Whoops sorry but on the bright side your so cute when your little." she teased picking Ken up and puckering her lips, planting a large kiss on his body that nearly sucked him into her mouth.
Ken wasn't quite sure how to take Alyssa's comment or what to say so allowed her to do more of the talking at first as she continued to say "So now that I've shrunk you, why don't we go to_____________."
