You watch as the thief looks over you and Rebecca for a few moments before making a decision. He snaps his fingers to indicate that he want to take Rebecca's head. The thief restraining Rebecca's body pushes it to the ground before picking up her head.
"No!! Put me down, you monster!!!" She screams, as he throws her into the van. You watch as her approaches her body again, which is now flailing around in panic, in order to put it in the van too.
"Leave the rest!" The lead thief tells him. "We don't need them."
With that, the thief backs off from Rebecca's body and jumps back in the van. You then feel the other thief release your body and push it to the ground. You hear the slide door closing and then see the van speed off in the corner of your eye.
"Hey! What just happened!?" You hear Mikki's muffled voice from under your jacket.
"The thieves...They came back. They took Rebecca, or her head at least." You tell her. You then unzip your jacket and pull Mikki's head out. The first thing she see's is your severed head on the ground in front of her.
"Oh my god! Are you okay!?" She yells.
"I'm fine. I just need you to guide my body to my head." You tell her.
After a few minutes of Mikki giving you orders on which direction to move your body, you eventually reach your head. You sit Mikki's down and pick your head up to face your body. "Whoa! This is really weird, controlling my body from a different perspective." You say, as you inspect the empty space where your head used to be. You then raise your hand and feel the smooth skin that now covers your stump.
As you look behind your body, you see Rebecca's, now crawled up in a ball on the ground. "I can't imagine what they're putting her through right now." Mikki says. You then walk your body over to hers, your head in your hands (literally) and place a hand on her shoulder to let her know you're there. As her body turns around, you give her a hug. She quickly embraces you. You feel her shaking all over. Once the hug is over, you see her feel her neck stump. She then, surprisingly signals for you to place a head on her body.
"Mikki, should we do what she's asking?"
"Well, she current has no use for her body and I guess she figured that she would be a burden on us if she kept control." Mikki tells you.
"You're right. Her body is more useful to use right now than it is to her. We can always give it back once we find her." You say.
