Alice walked to office kitchen. It was her second week working there. She retrieved a bunch of treats that Jenna asked for. As she made her way back to her desk she was interrupted.
“Oh hey you’re Alice! I’m Jessica, or just Jess if you want.” Jessica said. Jessica looked rather uncomfortable in her desk chair.
“Hi Jessica, nice to meet you.” Alice said. “Are you okay?” Jess was squirming in her chair.
“I… er I ughhh just trying to...” Jess stopped her squirming. “I seem to be stuck in this chair.” Alice looked at Jessica. She was hefty 350 pounds. And by the looks of it her wide hips were actually wedged into the chair. Alice had never seen that before! Looking at Jess’s big blubbery body though it didn’t seem like such an unheard of event.
“Well I can help.” Alice placed her pile of sweets on Jess’s desk. She grabbed Jess’s hand and the chair. Jess stared to lift.
“I… Think we… Almost… Hey are those twinkies?” Jess immediately plopped back down in her chair. Alice was confused. “I thought we were all out of these!” Jess said as she grabbed a twinkie.
“Aren’t you?...”
“Do you mind if I have these?”
“Ughhh… Yeah sure.” Alice said. “But you’re still stuck?”
“I was just going to get some snacks anyways.” Jess said continuing to chew through twinkies.
“But… you’re still trapped in the chair?” Alice said in confusion.
“Wow am I starving. The twinkies are…” Just then a button popped off Jessica’s shirt.
“Uh oh.” Alice said. Jessica didn’t seem to acknowledge it. Instead she continued to eat demolish the box of twinkies. Alice bent over and picked up the lost button.
“Here you go.” When Alice found the button Jessica had finished the large box of twinkies.
“Oh uh thanks.” Jess patted her big belly. “Boy that *burp* hit the spot.”
“Well was nice to meet you Jess. See you around.” Alice said. As she went back to get some more treats for Jenna.
