The colossus of the theatre

Massive shockwaves all of a sudden could be felt through the theatre which caused you to fall out of your chair. Strangely, fear isn’t the emotion that has overcome you; it was confusion First of all, according to your knowledge, Earthquakes had never passed through your town, It seemed strange to you that they happened now of all time. Second of all, the “earthquake” wasn’t constant; there was always a small pause between shockwaves that were being send through the theatre, almost as if......no, i can’t be, can it? There’s just no way.... right?
These thoughts traveled through your mind before you even realize that the people behind you were just sitting still while looking up at the ceiling; not caring for the possibility of getting crushed by the collapsing. It was as if there were waiting in anticipation for the giantess Sarah to appear, which is why you immediately began running to the exit.
