Against your better judgement you decide to help Persephone out. She most likely won't return the favor, but at the least could provide a distraction for you. "All right," you say. "I'll do it, but you have to help me escape too." Her giant eye reappears and she agrees. "Of course, its only fair." Not that you believe her in the least. You don't trust any of these beasts, let alone a murderous cannibal like Persephone.
You set to work. Its not easy considering you've only ever picked human-sized locks. "Do you almost have it?" she asks impatiently. "Hold on a minute." you reply irritably. "I've never actually picked a lock from the inside." It takes a little while, but eventually the lock clicks. Well, to Persephone it was probably a click. To you it was more like a gigantic THUNK.
"Good job human." Persephone says as you hop out of the lock. Before you can get away though she snatches you up."Now get to work on this damn muzzle." You know this is your opportunity for a deal. As she puts you on the muzzle you give her an ultimatum. "I don't think so. Take me with you and I'll undo the muzzle after we sneak out of this hole." Persephone doesn't take too kindly too this. "Why you puny little twerp!" she almost yells before lowering her voice as to not draw one of the guards. "I could squash you like the bug you are! Now get this muzzle off me or I'll introduce you to the bottom of my foot!"
"You probably would have done that anyway you albino freak! At least this way I have a chance of getting out. You can either kill me now and wander around until you get caught or we can work together to make it out." you tell her. "I'll remove the muzzle once we're home free." You can see the anger in Persephone's huge red eyes as she weighs her options.
