You hide under some bars and then you shake as the manticore giantess still on all fours searches for you. You even start to sweat and cross your fingers, hoping that Belladonna won't find you. But instead Belladonna's enormous eye appears in front of you and gives an evil look. "Hello Wade." You scream and try to run, but Belladonna pins you underneath her enormous paw.
You struggle as Belladonna smiles evilly and shows you her hundreds of razor sharp shark like teeth. "Get your paw off of me arachnid butt!" you yell. "You don't scare me!" "Oh re-ally?" asks Belladonna as she gives you a sneaky smile. "You know, I can be as scary as Cree when I want to be. Scarier." Belladonna roars and you're frozen with fear.
"Now," says the manticore vice warden as she picks her teeth. "What to do? I just got back from visiting my sister in Horrorville last night and unfortunately she doesn't consider humans to be food. If I have to eat tofu one more time, I'm going to go insane. It's been too long since I had a tender little morsel. But wait, you're technically an escapee. The governor is visiting today and it would look very bad for a certain gargoyle if she spotted a prison, especially a human prisoner, out of his cell."
While Belladonna was the vice warden, she wanted to be the warden and was out to steal Destiny's job. She'd look for any opportunity to get Destiny in trouble so she'd be either fired or demoted. It makes you wonder why Destiny would want such a self-serving backstabber as her second in command.
"What to do?" asks Belladonna as she twirls her stinger. "What to do?"
