This choice: Destiny comes in for an inspection • Go Back...Chapter #3Lockette Makes Parole by: Unknown As Lockette was throwing the orange and blue jumpsuits into the washing machine, a shadow is cast over the laundry room that causes the other monsters in the room, including the sabertooth guard to freeze in fear. It was a familiar tall shadow with leathery bat like wings. There was only one monster that it could possibly be, Warden Destiny herself. Destiny walks into the room and the sabertooth immediately springs out of her seat. "Eyes awake," says Destiny. "Fearfield isn't paying you to loaf off."
Destiny walks forward and one troll inmate has the gall to give her the finger. Destiny turns around and then grabs the troll girl by the neck as she yells. "I'd watch myself if I were you," says Destiny. "You've got a long ways to go to get out of here. Don't make it any harder for yourself." The troll woman nods her head in fear before Destiny drops her into a pile of dirty jumpsuits and gestures to her that she's watching her. "Bitch." You think to yourself.
However, when Destiny turns to a shaking Lockette, she just gives a smile. "Lockette," says Destiny. "Congratulations are in order." "Th-They are?" asks Lockette scared and confused. Destiny smiles again at Lockette. "You're a model prisoner, Lockette. Which is more than I can say about that vermin roommate of yours." Since Destiny couldn't see you, you give her both fingers. "What I mean to say," says Destiny to Lockette. "You're a free girl, Lockette. You've been released for good behavior." Lockette is surprised to hear that and Destiny extends her hand. "Th-Thank you, Warden." Says Lockette as she shakes hands with the gargoyle woman.
That sucked. Destiny was letting Lockette go while you were left here to rot. Well, you weren't sticking around. You decide that while Destiny is distracted, you'd skeedaddle. But before you could get any farther, Destiny brings her foot down and traps you between her talons. "No use, Wade," says Destiny with a voice full of venom. "I knew you were going to try to escape somehow." "You anus!" you yell up to Destiny. Destiny squeezes her toes and makes you scream before picking you up. She gives you a glare and shows you her fangs. "You know," says Destiny. "You're getting predictable, Wade." "Then why not release me too? I don't belong in this freak hotel."
Destiny gives a glare as Lockette looks on in worry. "Please, don't hurt him." Destiny lets out a sigh. "Why should you care what happens to this piece of garbage?" Destiny asks Lockette. "He's been nothing but verbally abusive to you since you became cellmates and he never listened to you. Your kindness was wasted on him. You're a free woman, Lockette, you don't have to concern yourself with scum like Wade any more."
With that Destiny stomps out. "You know, Wade," says Destiny. "This is too convenient. With Lockette out of Under Gloom, I'm going to have to relocate you. You'll have a new cellmate by the time the day is over." Destiny then gives an evil laugh that would make Demona herself blush. Something told you, you caught her on a bad day as she escorts you to the...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
