Deciding that actually wearing Tommy as a sock would be going to far, especially after he seemed against being one in the first place, Eric pointed the device at the limp sock on the ground.
"Okay, okay sorry Tommy, that was a joke. Don't be to mad at me man." Eric says as he pulls the trigger, transforming the sock back into his best friend. Returning to his original form, Tommy stood in the middle of the room dumbfounded for a bit until he realized what Eric had just done to him.
"Do you REALIZE what could have possibly happened to me? What if I was stuck as a sock forever Eric!?" He yells out to his now former friend. "How would you like it if I changed you into something stupid you JERK!" With that, Tommy bull rushes Eric and attempts to wrestle the device from his hands. During the struggle, the device begins to emit strange noises that signal a major malfunction as well as the voice activated function.
"You're such an ASS!" Tommy yells "Yeah, well you're being a DICK!" Eric shoots back as the two boys hold the device, reaching down, Tommy pulls the trigger and watches as Eric is shot with the bright light which causes him to close his eyes and stumble backwards onto his butt. After a minute of being dazed, Tommy opens his eyes and looks around the room for Eric.
"Oh shit, Eric!? Where.. I mean what are you?" The teenage boy says as he gets on his hands and knees and searches the floor where Eric and himself had just fought. Suddenly his bedroom door burst open as his mother marched into the room demanding answers.
"Tommy WHAT is going on in here? How can one teenage make so much noise?" She demands.
"Sorry mum, I was just uh.. practicing for some stupid presentation I have Monday.." he lies. Satisfied with his answer, Tommy's mother turns and exits the room. Heaving a great sigh, Tommy turns his attention back to finding Eric.
"Okay Eric, don't panic I'll figure this out!" he says very loudly. For the next hour, Tommy used the device on every single item in his bedroom, even going so far as to stripping down out of his clothes until he was naked and trying it on each individual piece of clothing he was wearing. Once again standing in the middle of his bedroom, Tommy sighed.
"I guess he could have ran out after I was blinded..." he mutters under his breath. "The gun was malfunctioning, I doubt it actually transformed him. Well whatever, that guy was a jerk anyway, I hope I never see him again!".
With that, Tommy put his clothes back on and put everything in his room back where it belonged, fully convinced that Eric had just ran out of the room. Unbeknownst to him, Eric had not run out of the room, but had transformed into Tommy's...
