No where in the inner sphere is so terribly far from humanity's home, but there is still a bevvy of fantastical locations to be living a 'normal life' on.
You might live on a space station, filling any number of service jobs for an area, or just refueling the space ships of passing adventurers. How you dream of leaving this cold artificial space station, but you were born here, and without getting fantastically rich, or something very strange happening, you'd likely die here.
Or perhaps you live on a more traditional colony planet-side. You might work in manufacturing, or farming. The world is alien to you, but the air is breathable, and the forest is supposed to glow in strange colors at night on this world. Its almost earth like, it may have even supported complex life at some point.
